What is the Subaru Love Promise?

Subaru and our retailers believe in making the world a better place and the Subaru Love Promise is our vision of respecting all people. This is our commitment to show love and respect to our customers and to work to make a positive impact in the world.

The Subaru Love Promise Community Commitment

We believe in being a positive force in something bigger. And it all starts right here in our community. Not just by our donations, but by our actions.

That's why we stay true to our Love Promise Community Commitment by partnering with a wide variety of community nonprofits and charities.

Every year, we join hands with our owners in the "Share the Love" event, giving back to our community-a community that's given so much to us.

So, every day, we strive to ensure our love is felt not just by our customers, but by all in our community. We do this because we feel it is the right thing to do.

We are proud to participate in the Love Promise Community Commitment. We're grateful, not only to be a part of our community, but to serve and support the causes and passions that are closest to our hearts, right here in our neighborhood.

All of the organizations we support have one thing in common: the unwavering dedication to improve the world and the lives of its people.

Loving the environment means more than loving the great outdoors. It means working to preserve it.

In a perfect world, hunger would be history and hope would be commonplace. We believe a perfect world is possible.

Subaru and Meals on Wheels America worked together to make volunteering easier, by launching a tool called the Meals on Wheels Online Volunteer Drive.

We should all have a chance to lead a healthy life. We’re aiming to give as many people that chance as we can.

Donation to St. Peter's Univsersity Hospital  –  Michelle E

Donation to St. Peter's Univsersity Hospital

Coleman Subaru helped deliver joy and warmth to pediatric patients at St. Peter's University hospital by donating 80 blankets for those in treatment. The nurses and doctor that we were able to meet with were so overwhelmed with appreciation and kept saying how much they loved the blankets and how beautiful they were. They have already even completed handing out all the blankets to their patients!

Subaru Loves the Earth  –  Marissa F

Subaru Loves the Earth

Here at Coleman Subaru we put together and displayed in our showroom our very own Butterfly Garden. We did this to become Butterfly Heroes, and provide knowledge to our customers regarding the Monarch Butterfly and the unfortunate fact that their population is collapsing. We had our garden up, as well as, seed packets for our customers to take and create their very own gardens, and become Butterfly Heroes themselves. By planting the milkweed & building a habitat for these beautiful butterflies we are all helping the Monarch Population that in turn helps US Crops, and subsequently our own food supply. After showering our Garden with love we have donated it to The Academy of the Arts in Brooklyn NY for continued awareness and support.

Our Customers helped raise more than $4900!

Once again, Coleman Subaru selected Boys & Girls Club of Mercer County has our hometown charity for the Subaru Share The Love Event. Thanks to our customers, we will be able to present a check for more than $4900 to the Boys & Girls Club of Mercer County. The first generation of Coleman Subaru, Lewis D. Coleman, was a proud contributor and board member for many years. His son, Bruce Coleman, is continuing the tradition. The Boys & Girls Club of Mercer County has been making a significant difference in the lives of youths since 1937. Education is the cornerstone of The Boys & Girls Club with after-school enrichment programs available for children in grades K through 12. In Trenton, where nearly half of the students do not make it to graduation, members of the Boys & Girls Club senior class boast a 99% graduation rate with more than 80% going on to college or technical school. The Boys & Girls Club of Mercer County recently opened a new larger facility in Lawrence Township which will allow them to accommodate more students. They have opened a bicycle exchange and a computer exchange. Bicycles & computers can be donated. Professional staff members and community volunteers assist trained Boys & Girls Club members to rehabilitate the computers and bicycles before offering them for sale.
